They are delightedly awaiting the arrival of their first child.

And Ola and James Jordan are certainly gearing up for action as they posed for a stunning new pregnancy shoot with Celebrity Secrets Magazine

The former Strictly Come Dancing stars, aged 37 and 41, wowed in the housewife-themed shoot as they discussed their share of housework – with Ola revealing that James ‘doesn’t know how to turn on the washing machine’.

Ola and James previously revealed their unborn baby is due in March, after announcing their pregnancy news on September 2.

The couple confirmed they are expecting their first child following a three-year fertility struggle and admitted that they were yet to fully process the news after falling pregnant during the first round of IVF treatment.

Taking to Twitter Ola and James revealed the happy news, as she penned: ‘I can’t actually believe I’m writing this but I’m so happy to say @TheJamesJordan and I are expecting a baby. We are both so excited to add a little munchkin into our family’. 

On their share of housework, Ola said: ‘We have ‘blue’ jobs and ‘pink’ jobs, in the sense that I cook and do the washing. James hasn’t got a clue how to work the washing machine!’

James went on: ‘I cut the grass, wash the car and take the bins out. I do the ironing though – and I’m constantly hoovering the house.’ 

Elsewhere in the chat, Ola and James slammed ‘ridiculous’ gender neutral parenting and insisted that it isn’t ‘even up for discussion’ in their family. They added that their unborn child is either going to be ‘a boy or a girl’ as it’s ‘scientific fact’. 

 James said: ‘When we go to find out what sex the baby is, they’re not going to say, “Oh, it’s gender neutral.” It’s either a boy or a girl – and that’s a scientific fact. Men and women are different.’

To which Ola added: ‘Don’t get me wrong, if we have a boy and he wants to be a girl when he’s older, then that’s fine,’ with James adding: ‘That’s his choice – it’s not our decision.’

The couple added that they are going to have ‘blue for a boy and pink for a girl’ to meet their ‘fairly traditional’ home life, adding that they have ‘blue jobs’ and ‘pink jobs’ around their abode. 

Ola and James also want Santa to leave ‘gender-specific presents’ at Christmas time, saying ‘boys are boys – and girls are girls’.  

 They also spoke about their ‘physically and mentally draining’ IVF journey in the candid interview, which will be distributed in OK! Magazine bumper packs on Tuesday 19 November.
