Jessica Rowe, 48, might regularly tout herself as a c**p housewife. 

But on Saturday, the former Studio Ten panelist appeared to be the doting spouse to newsreader husband, Peter Overton, 53.

The published author shared a proud selfie of herself at home watching Pete present Nine’s federal election coverage on a large panel.

Jessica shared a second photo of herself in front of the TV, joking sarcastically about her wild ‘raging’ Saturday night plans. 

 Wearing her pajamas, she wrote: ‘Watching Petee on Nine News.’ 

Peter, 53, has been married to Jessica since 2004, with the couple sharing two children: Allegra, 12, and Giselle, 10.

The couple are known to be close-knit, with Jessica regularly sharing details of their personal life together. 

On Wednesday, Jessica shared a snap of Peter and their daughter Allegra attending their first ‘father-daughter dance.’ 

In a heart-warming Instagram snap, a suit-clad Peter proudly posed with their eldest daughter.

Jessica captioned the picture: ‘How lucky are we… a rare night off for Peter as he takes our darling Allegra to her first ‘Father Daughter’ dance.’ 

She then added the hashtag ‘luckiest mummy’, along with some heart emojis.  

In an interview on Monday, Jessica revealed that she’s been spending more time with her family since stepping down from her role on Studio 10.

‘Like so many people if you’re torn in so many different directions, you want to be fabulous in your career, be the best mum the best wife the best friend and you can’t do it all at once,’ she said on The 7:30 Report.

‘For me to take a step back from my career and lean in for my girls and my husband is just the best.’ 

Her pal and former Studio 10 co-host Denise Drysdale added: ‘No job is worth it if you’re suffering head problems with it. Leave it there when you go home.’

Jessica replied: ‘I know for my mental health it has been such a good thing for me to take a step back.’
