Bravo TV royalty Lisa Vanderpump paid a special visit to our city this weekend to make sure we’re all kicking off rose wine season right. On Friday night, the reality star pulled her black Bentley up to ReelHouse, where she entertained a completely packed patio during the East Boston eatery’s private Vanderpump Summer Launch Party.
LVP, who’s famous for her roles on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and “Vanderpump Rules,” was joined by her husband Ken Todd, daughter Pandora Vanderpump Sabo and son-in-law, Jason Sabo, as locals raised a glass — or maybe more — of her Vanderpump Rose wine as everyone noshed on bites prepared by the restaurant’s executive chef, Marc Orfaly, and toasted the start of everything al fresco. Amongst the swarm of summer-ready guests seen drinking in the views of the Boston skyline along with their wine: Colton Bradford, co-host of NBC10 Boston‘s “The Hub Today”; Natasha Verma, NBC10 Boston reporter; Amanda Pflugrad, host and team reporter for the Boston Celtics; Eliza Shirazi, creator and founder of Kick It By Eliza; and, of course, ReelHouse’s co-owners, Charlie Larner and Sal Boscarino, as well as their wives Brooke Larner and Guida Boscarino.
Vanderpump’s harborside appearance, as well as her subsequent bottle-signing gig held at Kappy’s Fine Wines & Spirits in Peabody on Saturday, came shortly after she dropped a major RHOBH bombshell on social media. The British restaurateur claimed that viewers probably wouldn’t be seeing her in any more episodes of Season 9 — with the possible exception of the show featuring snippets from her opening of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
“No, maybe caesars on the last one…” Vanderpump replied to one Twitter user who asked if she’d be making any more appearances before the current season comes to an end.
“They cut out all my scenes, it was all philanthropic,” she added. “#route 91 strong … Trevor project psa … Indian party etc.”
Vanderpump is one of the franchise’s few remaining OG Housewives, serving as a central figure on the series since it debuted in 2010. However, she stopped shooting scenes with most of her co-stars this season, including longtime friends Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, due to the fallout from the now-infamous PuppyGate, where she was accused of leaking a story about Kemsley’s dog to the press. She was last seen on the show during Episode 15, which originally aired on May 21 and showed her declining an invitation to Camille Grammer’s Hawaiian nuptials because she wanted to avoid the group drama, in addition to voluntarily taking a lie detector test to prove her innocence in the whole PuppyGate debacle.
